> It is very true that you get back what you put out into the universe. I had literally hit the publish button on yesterdays blog when a client brought me a very unique tapestry. It was made to be a wall hanging, but it was used instead as a bedspread for the guest room. She was given it as a gift from her husband 30-40 years ago. It has been in storage for years and the owner wants to know more about it before she decides what to do with
The tag on it says cotton and rayon/viscose and that it is made in Italy. The fibers tricked me into thinking that they might be wool, but upon deeper investigation I have found that they are not wool. Here is a closer view of the top fibers. The colours are very vibrant and do not bleed.. The fibers are soft, shiny and compel you to touch it.
I have done an inquiry on the rug hub to find out about the origin of this beautiful tapestry.
If you have any thoughts about the history of this wall tapestry please let me know.
